Director — Strategic Operations

Location New York City Function Institutional Operations Engagement Full-Time Layer Strategic Operations
Institutional Context 01 of 08

Aspera Edge's institutional operations span treasury operations, risk and governance, financial infrastructure supervision, institutional engagement, legal operations, and strategic intelligence — functions that require coordination across the operating layer, deployment standards, and operational continuity at the executive level. The Strategic Operations function exists to coordinate this complexity.

The Director — Strategic Operations is the operating principal of this function. The role coordinates execution across the firm's functions, establishes deployment standards, and translates leadership commitments into operational reality at institutional scale.

Role Mandate 02 of 08

Lead strategic operations across the firm. Coordinate execution across the operating layer, establish deployment standards, and translate leadership commitments into operational reality across counterparty deployments.

The Director operates as the coordinator of institutional execution — owning the interface between leadership intent and operational deployment. The role establishes how the firm executes against counterparty engagements, how handoffs occur between functions, and how operational continuity is maintained across treasury, risk, engagement, infrastructure, and legal deployments.

Day-to-day, the role coordinates with the Director — Treasury Operations on treasury deployment standards, with the Head of Compliance Operations on compliance integration into counterparty engagement, with the Director — Financial Infrastructure Oversight on infrastructure deployment, with the Head of Institutional Engagement on counterparty execution coordination, and with the Chief Operating Officer on executive operating standards.

The function operates against the reality that institutional execution at scale requires coordination architecture across the operating layer — and that handoffs between engagement, deployment execution, and steady-state operations are constitutive of institutional credibility.
